No antlers. So... Mrs. Moose?
Mr Moose was not overly concerned about blocking the trail.
How do we know what this moose identifies itself as?No antlers. So... Mrs. Moose?
He could be a yearling. Or she could be a cow.No antlers. So... Mrs. Moose?
I didn't get an email from him/her, so I don't know. How do we know what this moose identifies itself as?
Remember back when it was OK to use "man" for all humankind?
That's like using "he" for all living non-human beings, assuming that it's OK to leave out any reference to the females. This verbal habit frustrates me.
So... Mrs. Moose?
Right. My bad. Ms. Moose.Really???
I've done a little more googling and the face is dark which would suggest a male. A Yearling is in his second year and pretty well grown. They would only have vestigial antlers. That looks like a full grown moose. At this time of year, were it a male, it would have antlers.

I say this knowing that some of you may find my stance on this issue to be trivial, offensive, self-righteous, or unduly picky. So be it.
