Is there any value in doing exercises that simulate ski movements in a non-ski setting?

Excellent thank you Brian. Nice photo. I don't think my gym has one of these resistance flywheel devices. A heavy monster band or the kayezen band system somehow attached to my wall rack in the home gym might work (I've got a wedge already).

Is picture above using monster/megaband?

It's a solid strap that comes w/ the https://kayezen.com/ kit - quick pic as I'm wrapping up. Shoulda got more in the frame :)
