Daisy for beginner terrain seems pretty common.

Some Googling shows a few in Europe (Chamonix, St. Anton am Arlberg, Garmisch-Partenkirchen) ... Are there more? Any in North America?
Mt Cranmore in NH has a Kandahar trail. It is where I made my first official DH turns.

White Lightning could be a contender.

Gun Barrels on Whistler
Technically, that’s not Gunbarrel. I’m not sure I can give it to @dbostedo since he sort of claimed it was in Chamonix. :bike:
The Chamonix reference was to runs named "Kandahar", not Gunbarrel.
Well the “Kandahar” race is very famous. Because of this guy-

The name predates any ski lift.

I actually have skied the Kandahar run at Les Houches. (Chamonix) Took the lift of that name several times. My memory of the whole thing is dim because it was a miserable day with a bunch of problems. I do remember that lift as delivering some very good conditions for the day and not being as ghastly as other areas.

Not all identically named, but I can think of Sugarbush, Deer Valley, Aspen Highlands, and ?

Stein's Way at Heavenly, but it's only a blue that goes to Stein's restaurant.

Here are a few Racers Edge - Hunter Mtn, Killington, Sugarbush, Buttermilk, Cascade Mtn (Wisc), Powderhorn (Col). I knew the first four.

Ptarmigan. I had to look up what it was on Google because I had never heard of one except at ski resorts.

Yeah that's a northern bird. You have to go to the Yukon, NWT, Nunavut or way north Ontario to find them birds. Like Arctic Char...

There's a town in Alaska (on the Taylor Highway between the Alaskan Highway and Dawson City, YT) named Chicken, As the story goes it was named Chicken because no one could spell Ptarmigan. Somewhere or other I have a t-shirt carrying the name of the town softball team, the Chicken Peckers. Never actually saw the Peckers play, as isolated as the town is I doubt they could find opponents -- or enough residents to field a team. At the time I was guarding the border at Poker Creek which is on the Alaska - Yukon border and had 3 US residents and one dog while I was there. There was one Canadian but he was on the other side of the border, couple of steps away.
