Dan was walking home from a Halloween party at his friends house, when he heard a thumping noise behind him. THUMP, THUMP, THUMP, THUMP. When Dan turned around he saw it was a coffin behind him. Dan started walking quicker but the THUMPS were still right behind him. Soon Dan was running, the coffin started running too. Now Dan was running faster than he had ever ran in his life, but the coffin was still right behind him!

“HELP!” Dan screamed! He ran into his house and tried to slam the door but the coffin caught the door and started following him up the steps THUMP, THUMP, THUMP, THUMP, Dan ran into the bathroom and grabbed the first thing he saw, cough drops, and threw them at the coffin….and of course the coffin’ stopped.

That seem unusual to have a birds mouth on the top end of the rafters. Usually the top end of the rafters is a plumb cut and the birds mouth sits on the sill plate of the wall. The upside down hanger bracket in the photo are online used for horizontal beams.

That whole thing is a massive hack job.
Starting from the bottom left. The 2x4 studs are not connected at the top. Just waving in the air.
The support post at the far end of the for the 2x8 built up beam (4 pieces) looks like a single piece of 2x6. Not good.
From the look of the angle of the 2x8 rafter. The rafters do not appears to rest on the built up beam.
The 2x materials on top of the built up beam are just pieces of blocking that created the illusion of the birds mouth cut into the rafters.
None of the work followed standard construction practices. Just another hack job.
