Exclusive: SkiTalk.com relaunches YouTube channel with Contest

Ski reviews have always been a cornerstone of SkiTalk.com content. We have always believed that providing you, our readers and followers, the best and fairest information when it comes to helping you choose the best ski for your needs was key to the success of SkiTalk.com, but more so the information that keeps you coming back and staying engaged. So we felt it was best for you, our readers, that we expand upon that foundation and to provide you not only video reviews of the skis but also create a new platform for articles about gear. These articles will include how to help you choose the right gear for you, learn about new technology, along with comparisons and even a new way of doing Cage Match Comparisons.

We will be staying true to our Who is it for/Who is it not for format which helps you decide if the gear youre tempted in is right for you. For the product reviews we will be including Insider tips where we feel it's necessary and also reviewers comments. Along with new content and information, we will also taking some of our past articles and updating them in video form. We started working with a local Reno company PlayaProductions that understood our vision and is helping us get video content to you in the simple, concise and engaging format that you have come to expect from us.

We will be going live with 2023 reviews towards the end of August then continuing throughout the year with additional reviews and other great video content. You will also see past and future episodes of SkiTalk LIVE with Dan Egan where we interact with ski industry professionals and celebrities. So, please subscribe and follow us on YouTube so you can stay updated with the latest reviews and visual articles.

About author
Philpug
I started skiing in the mid-70s in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania; from then on, I found myself entrenched in the industry. I have worked in various ski shops from suburban to ski town to resort, giving me a well-rounded perspective on what skiers want from their gear. That experience was parlayed into my time as a Gear Review Editor and also consulting with manufacturers as a product tester. Along with being a Masterfit-trained bootfitter I am a fully certified self proclaimed Gear Guru. Not only do I keep up with the cutting edge of ski gear technology, but I am an avid gear collector and have an extensive array of bindings as well as many vintage skis.
