Rescued this little guy who fell out of the nest and broke his foot. Hooray for Crystal Critters bir rehab in Mesa AZ.

No not sure. It is a common bird to AZ. I think she called it a thresher.

These are couple of shots in a sequence showing an adult Pine Siskin feeding one of its chicks. The "chick" is nearly as big as the parent, and is perfectly able to fly and eat sunflower seeds itself, but it demands partially digested food from the parent as often as possible.

You can clearly see the regurgitated food in two of the shots, and some bird saliva in another. Ugh!
