It's a treefrog(?) festival. One on a table strut at lunch, another on my chair at happy hour. Each is about one inch long.

These are couple of shots in a sequence showing an adult Pine Siskin feeding one of its chicks. The "chick" is nearly as big as the parent, and is perfectly able to fly and eat sunflower seeds itself, but it demands partially digested food from the parent as often as possible.

You can clearly see the regurgitated food in two of the shots, and some bird saliva in another. Ugh!

OK, enough of that ^^^ nonsense. How about a male rufous hummingbird?

Or a busy birdfeeder with a pine siskin, and a goldfinch pair. The male goldfinch is the show-off on the lower perch with the brighter colors.

Mother Barrow's Goldeneye with 7 ducklings. You have to look closely, but there really are 7 of them. Taken while paddling on Rosebud Lake, near the US/BC border.
